 Impacts of Chinese manufacturing 

 

Chinese manufacturing has many positives and negatives: 

  • Cheap 

  • Fast 

  • Low tax duties 

  • Ethical issues 

  • Quality of products 

  • Shipping 

However, one of the biggest issues with Chinese manufacturing is the risk of security vulnerabilities. China is run by a communist party which goes against the USA’s and NATO’s ideas. This creates a lot of tension between the two sides. As a result of this, countries are very suspicious of Chinese products, especially technology. For example, Huawei is a Chinese phone brand that are banned in the USA due to possible security issues.
