Virtualisation/Cloud Services 

Virtualisation enables scalability in a business. Server virtualisation allows one physical server to operate multiple virtual machines. This allows a business to cut costs and become more efficient. They can also use network virtualisation to run devices on a virtual network. This allows the business to skip buying expensive networking equipment. Desktop virtualisation also enables organisations to provide software for the specific needs of the employees. 

The cloud is useful as it encourages easy data processing and storage. Employees do not have to store data on their own devices which reduces risks of security breaches. Also, cloud solutions are faster to implement than physical solutions. The cloud allows for improved collaboration between employees and reduces the risk of data loss.
