The change advisory board is responsible for advising change in the business. This is important so the business doesn’t have many or small implications when executing change.

2.Explain the purpose of a request for change.

A request for change is necessary to ensure there are no flaws or vulnerabilities that will be left open due to a change.

3.Describe the stages of approval for the request for change.

Initiation – The change is identified and proposed. Submission – The change is written up in a document and submitted to the appropriate team. Assessment – The impacts of the change are assessed to make sure there are no vital flaws or vulnerabilities left open if the change went ahead. Approval – The change is approved or denied based on the assessment process. Implementation – The change is implemented into the business. Closure – The change request is closed after being implemented.

4.Identify three questions that a business should consider when setting specific objectives.

Is it viable? - This will make sure the objective is reachable. Is it effective? - The objective must help with the business’ main goals. Is it time-bound? - Queries if the objective will take lots of time to reach.

5.Describe the meaning of a time-bound objective.

A time-bound objective is an objective that relies on time to reach. A business may work towards these objectives over time however they should consider whether it is effective enough for the time it takes to reach.
