The scale of Digital Exclusion 

 

 

 

In recent years, more people have access to digital devices. This is due to the increasing need for them in modern times. Digital devices have become a key part of society for many people and businesses in the UK. Digitalisation of businesses have seen employees working from home on digital devices, improvements on efficiency using automation and cloud services enabling more scalability. However, there are still a lot of people in the UK who are not using digital devices. This can be because of lack of education, lack of access to them and stigmas around their uses. Digital inclusivity can be improved by educating people about how to use technology safely and efficiently and providing funding for digital devices in office spaces and home equipment. It can also be improved by making websites easy to read and operate.
