 VR – An emerging technology 

 

VR or virtual reality is a simulated 3d environment often experienced through a wearable headset device. The headset displays the environment through the display panels which go on your eyes. There are many VR headsets out there, some better than others. We have been using Oculus Quest IIs to experience and document the headsets. 

 

 

VR headsets have many uses. Usually, they are used for gaming where players can experience 3D worlds and play in realistic environments. They can also be used in businesses to train staff on real world scenarios. For example, firefighters can be trained using VR technology on what to do in a real fire.
