Project Planning and Scheduling

 Project planning and scheduling

Project planning

In project planning, designing and choosing effective policies and methodologies is key to attaining project objectives. The whole project should be clearly outlined, and key details explained. Some tools and techniques that can be used are TBS (task breakdown structure), SOW (scope of work), and CPM (critical path method).

Project scheduling

The procedure of project scheduling includes assigning tasks to team members and allocating appropriate resources, time, and funding. A project schedule should also include the estimated dates for sequential objectives to be hit. It should be updated to consider delays and should be tracked in all its stages.
